Modern Lappish design

Oaivi print was designed to personalise Lappish textile products in a modern way. Oaivi means a fjell with a round top and the inspiration for the print comes from Lapland, traditional Sami folk costumes and folklore. Oaivi print was designed for a unique kimono style HiHAKE sleeve blanket, which is my own product concept. Design was part of the studies for Bachelor of Textile Design and the cooperation partner was design agency Little Finland.
